Claire Leina is a young independent Brazilian textile designer based in Marseille in the south of France. After graduating with a degree in graphic design in 2007, she pursued her passion for textile design and began her career with the Soieries Modernes as assistant to Creative Director Benoit-Pierre Emery, working with him on several projects for Hermès and Kenzo.
Today, she has branched out into homes and interiors and designs household linen, dishes and wallpaper. The collection shown here is one that she has designed for Australian wallcoverings company imgs Custom Wallcoverings and which is available throughout Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia.
Claire’s influences, among others, come from fashion and graphic design, but also from nature, travels, and encounters with people, all things that are evident in this wallpaper collection.
Gorgeous original designs! So glad to see them available in Australia!
