Clavio Smart Telescopic Sideboard

In my opinion, storage is one of the essential components for making a house a home. Without good storage we are unable to display those items that we want others to see but hide away those that we don’t want on public display. In essence storage allows us to keep all our clutter at bay whilst portraying those parts of our lives and personalities that we don’t mind sharing. For me there is only one thing better than storage and that is smart storage!  And that is why the Clavio smart telescopic sideboard caught my attention. 

Clavio was conceived by Chiara Pellicano, a talented young designer from Italy, and is available in the UK from Limelace. The idea behind Clavio was to produce a modular storage unit that is both flexible and functional as well as being customisable by the user. This smart sideboard allows its owner to decide how it should be used according the space it will inhabit and the function it will fulfill. It starts out as a small little unit that can be used to hide away belongings but can be expanded to display the contents. Thanks to its handy wheel it can also be swiveled so that it fits nicely in a corner. In today’s day and age, this kind of flexible furniture is just what we need to meet our ever-changing lifestyles. Clavio has certainly won me over! What do you guys reckon?
