Designed by graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister for Dutch design collective Droog, the Darwin Chair is covered in 200 different sheets of paper, each in different patterns and colours. When the top sheet gets dirty or worn the user can simply tear it off revealing the layer below. Where each sheet is removed the perforation eventually becomes a comfortable head rest.
