The last time I featured the work of Evil Robot Designs on the blog, my traffic went through the roof. I’m talking a month’s worth of traffic in a day! So it was immediately obvious to me that you guys loved what they do and I’m wasn’t really that surprised to be honest. So imagine my delight when I was contacted by the boys a few months ago and they told me that they were working on a wallpaper range. I could barely contain my excitement and I wasn’t sure how I would be able to manage the wait…but I did, and now I have the details.

Launched at the recent Clerkenwell Design Week, these graphic wallpapers are bold and full of character with quirky names to boot. It came from Beneath the Sea features an intricate swirl of octopus tentacles in bold black and white with a deep red background, but bespoke commissions can be done if other colours are required.

It came from Outer Space takes its inspiration from B-Movies with the stark black and white design depicting a mass invasion of flying saucers.

The final paper in the collection is called The Three Laws of Robotics. This pin stripe design in shades of white and grey has plenty to see, as inside each stripe there is a multitude of robots and cyborgs fighting to escape the wall.

I can see these papers going down really well in a young boys bedroom, a quirky cafe or bar, or in a cool shop. Basically anywhere that wants to stand out from the crowd and make a statement.

So what do you reckon? Where would you use these papers? And which one is your favourite? I love the octopus tentacles personally.
