Lightboy & Lightgirl lamps by Ricardo Garza Marcos

I spotted these lamps a few months ago and I must say I think they are rather sweet. Designed by Mexican designer and architect Ricardo Garza Marcos, the Lightboy & Lightgirl concept lamp designs take the iconic symbols that have become universally recognized as those representing the idea of man and woman and transforms them into a simple yet striking lighting design.

I can imagine these lights looking pretty at home in a bedroom as his and hers bedside lights.
