So earlier this week, I shared some super cool garden equipment for people who want to stand out from the crowd. And today, I’m taking you inside and sharing some minimalist design-led plant holders. Can you tell that this nice weather we’ve been having has got me outside more and closer to nature?
I spotted these gorgeous designs some time ago, but for a while, I didn’t know who made them, but not one to give up, I finally tracked them down. Bujnie (which means rampant in Polish) is a Polish design studio and manufacturer that specialises in the design of plant holders and plant stands for those who love nature and want to bring it into their homes and offices in the most stylish way possible.
Founded by Szymon and Izabela Serej, both from Silesia, Bujnie’s aim is to focus attention on plants and fully expose their beauty through their unique decorative holders. Working with the principles of biophilic design, the pair always design with humans and our need to live with nature at the centre of the processes.
I recently wrote an article about biophilic design, which I will share here once it is published as it is such an interesting topic and one that really resonates with me personally. Whilst researching that article I came across some really shocking statistics that say that we now spend 90% of our time indoors. Now, I’m actually an indoor kind of person but that statistic upsets even me. But it’s no wonder that we are all desperate to bring the outdoors into our homes if that is the case.
There is no shortage of stylish plant holders and plant stands on the market, but these, are by far the best ones that I’ve come across, more so the wall-mounted ones as opposed to the stands. I love that their minimal design directs all the attention to the plants that they support, but at the same time, they also make such a great statement on the wall.
I have currently run out of space to extend my plant gang which makes me very sad as I’d love to invite more victims leafy friends into our home. As it stands, I’m all out of surface space; the window sills are full, the mantlepiece is packed and the sideboard is already too snug. It’s got to the point where I now need to look for alternative places to perch my plants. The only options I now have are to hang them from the ceiling or mount them on the walls.
I just wish I had more wall space in this tiny flat. If I did, I’d be stocking up on these beautiful minimalist, design-led plant holders to fill my walls. I mean you can never have enough plants, right?
So what do you guys think? Do these minimalist, design-led plant holders and plant stands take your fancy? Could you find space for them in your home?
“Great share!”
