Happy Wednesday everyone! Sorry for my radio silence the past few weeks but it’s not always easy to blog when you have a tiny baby with sleep issues. But don’t worry I have plenty of great posts lined up that I can’t wait to share with you. But today I wanted to present another great AW14 home collection and this time it’s from Sainsbury’s. You may remember that I featured the SS14 home collection from Sainsbury’s back in January and I was impressed with the trends that the supermarket launched back then. But I must say I’m even more impressed with the Sainsbury’s AW14 collection. I’m only going to feature my favourite trend today but there are in fact three trends for the coming colder months: Indigo Blue, Folk Tales and Dreamscape. No guesses for which one is my favourite. I think I’ve probably told you all before how indigo is my all-time favourite colour. It’s just so classy and sophisticated and I find it so calming. So when I spotted the Indigo Blue range I was instantly taken with it and I think you’ll see why.
Deep indigo and inky blues bleed into bold cobalt hues to create an edge of drama for this striking trend. Oriental brushstroke patterns on ceramics bring a fluid, organic feel to this luxurious look. Dark tones are brought to life with accents of warm copper and brushed pewter metalwork while natural linens and chunky knits add cosiness and texture

Beautiful Bedrooms
There are some really fantastic looking pieces for the bedroom including some wonderful textiles that add a really luxurious and cosy element. I certainly wouldn’t mind snuggling up in a bedroom like that this winter. And here are a few of my favourite pieces from the new range that would make perfect additions to the bedroom.
Lovely Living
Dark and moody hues are all the rage at the moment and this collection is perfect for creating that sultry look. Personally I prefer my livingroom to be a tad more light and airy so I’m not really drawn to the dark walls and dark floors used together but I really like the indigo accessories.
Here are some of my favourite products from the collection that could be used in the livingroom:
Delightful Dining
The pieces from the dining collection are perhaps my favourite of the whole range. I really like the beautiful painterly patterns and I would be extremely happy if my kitchen cupboards were stacked full of these dishes.
Here are some of my favourite pieces from the collection that can be used in the diningroom:
Blissful Bathing
I think the combination of indigo and white is just perfect for the bathroom and when we get round to re-doing our bathroom this colour combination is definitely one of my top choices. I particularly like the textiles from the range. Here again are some of my favourite pieces:
So what do you think? It’s a pretty great collection to come from a supermarket right? And the best thing? Supermarket prices makes it affordable for most of us. So we no longer need to swoon over those great pieces that are out of our price range because we can now get the look for highstreet prices. The collection will be available to buy online and in stores from 29th September 2014.
It’s so beautiful! Especially the ceramics. Can’t wait for it to be in store!
Great Post!
Any idea when the Indigo range will be available for sale?
Hi Sarah, it will be available to purchase online and in stores from September
Thanks Stacey- it’s just what I’m looking for.
You’re absolutely right, Stacey. The indigo is very chic – especially love the tableware and textiles. I shall be looking out for them in our local store.
