The Value of Design

The Value of Design from Design Council on Vimeo.

The Design Council has been working with the Arts & Humanities Research Council to measure the value that design thinking brings to small businesses. What it found is that design thinking does so much more than just make products look nicer or work better, it improves the way a business operates. Their research found that not only can design thinking increase the range of products a business develops, but it can also lead to more inspiring workplaces, happier staff, better service and, as a result, greater customer satisfaction.

  • Hi. I live in a 1900s built Maison Bourgeoisie. We have high ceilings and a dado rail fitted by a previous owner. Separating two rooms we have original 100 yrae old folding doors. An open fire in the front room and a stove in the back both with marble surrounds, brown in the front and white at the back. I am wondering if you could assist me with paper and paint ideas which would have been used when the house was built. It is not a huge house and l like to be cosy. I am thinking of something like a ‘Wedgewood blue’ but may use that in the hallway. I need colors that flow if possible. Many thanks.
