It’s been a while since I last posted about Brabantia. The brand has been at the forefront of my mind recently as we have been working on the makeover of our kitchen. They are one of my go to brands when it comes to quality, well-designed, long-lasting homewares. I’m currently eyeing up a new bread bin and perhaps some new food storage jars. It was while browsing the site that I came across the latest additions to the laundry collection. The new range of ironing boards is designed to help you de-stress and get some ‘me time’.
For some, ironing is their least favourite chore. But others find it a relaxing ritual. Ironing can be a chance to muse, or listen to music. With our new Ironing Boards we try to help you make the switch.

The three new ironing boards are not only practical and beautiful but they come with added extras to help take the stress away. One comes with some special ‘Brabantialife’ playlists on Spotify which allow you to tune in to some fantastic music to iron away the hours. The beautiful 124 x 38 cm ironing board comes with a sound cover, a Solid Steam Iron Rest and a fresh white frame so it looks the part too. For me personally though I wouldn’t count ironing as me-time. Whilst the music would help, I’d rather take time away from my household chores as I don’t really find them relaxing…at all!
The new Dots and Mandala ironing board covers help you see the bright side of ironing. Both boards come with a free 2 x 1m beach towel, for some extra me time in the sauna, hammam spa or at the beach. These two sound much more up my street. And a spa day is definitely something I need right now.
What do you guys think of these new boards? Do you think these added extra are a nice touch? What do you do when you need to take some ‘me time’?
Disclosure: This is a collaborative post. Brabantia kindly sent me the Mandala ironing board and beach towel in return for this post. However, I want to stress that I only collaborate with brands and companies that I genuinely like and believe that my readers will like too.
Nothing at home de-stresses me like an ironing board … amazing :)
Brabantia is wonderful i use quite a lot of their products. As ironing is part of my job i will definitely be looking at the mandala design board, it looks lovely

I’m not a fan of ironing. I blame a lot of the problem on the fact that my mother never ironed either! And I don’t have a decent board
I hate ironing but maybe with nice music (and glass of wine) it might be much easier:D
Super fancy design! Ironing will be so fun now!
